Well snow has arrived in Blaencwm. It was nice to wake up this morning and see everything covered in white. All our animals were very vary of the "white stuff". Perky went out looked around and decided she didn't like it and went back in to the warm. For the first time ever the girls decided to not to come out of the coop and we couldn't even tempt then with the favourite breakfast - porridge!. No way were the guinea fowl coming out either. And even Sooty was keeping her backside way off the ground during her morning toiletries. ...

Hi, the 4 guinea fowl are growing and becoming more adventurous.They are spending their time walking on the doors frames in the barn. Locally they are known as "come backs" because when they are frightened they make a loud noise which sounds like "comeback". Blackie is still on her own and we are trying to find her some company. Pinky & Perky are doing a grand job of turning over the field but they and all the animals apart from Blackie have not been happy as we have had torrential rain for the past few days. ...
